Tambo Viejo

Tambo Viejo is an archaeological site located in the northern part of the Arequipa region in southern Peru. The site spans an area of approximately 44 hectares.

The location contains evidence of human occupation spanning several historical eras, including the Early Intermediate period and the Inca period. Notable remains at the site include examples of Early Nasca pottery as well as structures from the Spanish colonial period.
