Valladolid, also popularly known as Pucela, is a city located in Spain. It serves as the primary seat of government and the de facto capital of the autonomous community of Castile and León. Additionally, it is the capital of the province of Valladolid.

The city is situated roughly in the center of the northern half of the Iberian Peninsula's Meseta Central at the confluence of the Pisuerga and Esgueva rivers. As of 2024, it has a population of 299,816, making it the most populated municipality in the region. The area surrounding the city is characterized by winegrowing regions.
