Pimampiro, also known as Pimampiru, is a city located in Ecuador. It serves as the seat of the Pimampiro Canton within the Imbabura Province.
The town is situated at an elevation of 2,163 metres (7,096 ft). According to census data, the population was recorded at 4,654 in 2001 and increased to 5,138 by 2010.
