Pedro Carbo

Pedro Carbo is a town situated in the coastal region of Guayas, Ecuador, near the Manabí province. It serves as the seat of the Pedro Carbo Cantón, which was founded in 1984. The town is geographically positioned at the 63 kilometer marker on the primary road connecting Guayaquil and Manabí.

The municipality takes its name from Pedro Carbo Noboa, a prominent 19th-century politician, diplomat, and writer originally from Guayaquil. According to the 2022 census, the town has a population of 24,882 residents.
