Pallatanga is a city and the seat of the Pallatanga Canton located in the Chimborazo Province of Ecuador. Situated in the foothills of the Andes Mountains, the village is positioned approximately two and a half hours from Guayaquil, two hours from Riobamba, and four hours from the capital city, Quito.
The area is characterized by its green surroundings, villages featuring wooden cabins, and crystal clear fresh water streams. It is a destination known for horseback riding and local markets where residents purchase produce. Additionally, Pallatanga participated in the national dance competition "Baila Ecuador," which awarded a special needs facility to the winning town.
