Timimoun is a town and commune located in south-central Algeria. It serves as the capital of the Timimoun District within the Timimoun Province.
According to the 2008 census, the population of the town was 33,060, reflecting an increase from 28,595 in 1998. The area recorded an annual growth rate of 1.5% during this period.
