El M'Ghair, also known as El Meghaïer or Mhraïer, is a town and commune located in Algeria. It serves as the capital of both the El M'Ghair District and the El M'Ghair Province.
As of the 1998 census, the town had a population of 40,228, which grew to 49,793 by the following period. It is characterized by an annual population growth rate of 2.2% and ranks as the second largest town in the province, following Djamaa.
