Bordj Bou Arréridj is the capital city of Bordj Bou Arréridj Province, located in Algeria. It is situated at an elevation of 916 metres and lies approximately 148 miles by road east of Algiers.
The city is positioned near the Hodna Massif in the southern Kabylie Mountains. According to a 2008 estimation, the population of Bordj Bou Arréridj was 168,346.
