Beni Saf

Beni Saf is a town located in northwestern Algeria, situated approximately 80 kilometers southwest of Oran. Established in 1876, it serves as a significant shipping port for the region's industrial output.

The town was primarily founded to facilitate the export of iron ore, which is mined in the area just south of the settlement. In addition to iron ore, Beni Saf is involved in the production and transport of zinc, marble, and onyx. The local economy also features an extensive fishing industry.
