Khemis Miliana

Khemis Miliana is a town located in northern Algeria with a population of approximately 210,000 inhabitants. Situated about 120 kilometers west of the capital city of Algiers, it serves as a university town.

Historically, the location was known as Malliana during Roman times and was referred to as Affreville during the French colonial era. It is distinct from the smaller nearby city of Miliana.
