Reggane is a town and commune located in the Adrar Province of central Algeria. It serves as the capital of the Reggane District and is situated within the Sahara Desert near an oasis.
The area is inhabited by Berber tribes and people. According to the 2008 census, the population of the town was 20,402, reflecting an annual growth rate of 3.8% since 1998.
