Meskiana is a town and commune located in the Oum El Bouaghi Province of Algeria. It is situated in close proximity to the Tunisian border.
According to data from the 1998 census, the population of Meskiana was 25,849. The town is also noted as the birthplace of novelist Yamina Méchakra.
