El Idrissia is a town and commune located in the Djelfa Province of Algeria. According to data from the 2008 census, the municipality has a population of 29,856 residents.
The location was formerly known as Zenina. This previous name was derived from a wealthy woman who was married to a Roman officer named Serdoun; notably, the name originally referred to a mountain situated near the town.
