Ighram is a town and commune located in the Kabylie region of northern Algeria. It is situated on the left bank of the Soummam river, positioned southwest of the wilaya of Béjaïa. The town lies more than 70 kilometers from the provincial capital and is located less than 5 kilometers from the neighboring town of Akbou.
The commune covers a total area of 50.11 square kilometers. As of recent estimates, the population of Ighram is approximately 16,878 inhabitants, consisting of 8,472 men and 8,406 women, resulting in a population density of 332 inhabitants per square kilometer.
