Tlemcen

Tlemcen is a city located in northwestern Algeria. It serves as the capital of Tlemcen Province and holds the distinction of being the second-largest city in the region, following Oran.

The city has established industrial sectors focused on leather, carpet, and textile production. These goods are exported via the port of Rachgoun. According to the 2008 census, Tlemcen had a population of 140,158 residents.
