Villa Mella, officially known as San Felipe de Villa Mella, is a municipality located in the province of Santo Domingo Norte in the Dominican Republic. It is situated north of the Isabela River, approximately six miles north of the center of Santo Domingo, and is regarded as an additional neighborhood of the nation's capital city.
The area is recognized as one of the economically stable sectors within the Santo Domingo metropolitan area. Additionally, Villa Mella is home to the Brotherhood of the Holy Spirit of the Congos of Villa Mella, a musical organization that received recognition from UNESCO in 2001.
