Tres Hermanos is one of the largest chains of shoe stores in Mexico. Based in León, Guanajuato—the center of the Mexican shoe industry—the company was established as a family business by three brothers of the Padilla family: Juan Manuel, Rodolfo, and Arnulfo. The Padillas originally hail from San Juan de los Lagos in Altos de Jalisco.
The business began in 1951 when the brothers decided to manufacture their own line of shoes before expanding into retailing both their own products and those from other manufacturers. The chain currently consists of approximately 450 stores across Mexico. Its marketing concept focuses on providing fashion, quality, and competitive pricing for a broad market that includes men, women, and children.
