Vejle is a city located in southeast Denmark on the Jutland Peninsula. It sits at the head of Vejle Fjord, where the valleys of the Vejle River and Grejs River converge. The city serves as the administrative seat for both Vejle Municipality and the Region of Southern Denmark.

With a population of 62,153, Vejle is the ninth largest city in Denmark. It is situated within the Triangle Region alongside the neighboring cities of Kolding and Fredericia. Geographically, the city is positioned approximately 70 kilometres from Aarhus, 240 kilometres from Copenhagen, and 110 kilometres north of Germany.
