Fredericia is a town located in Fredericia Municipality in the southeastern part of the Jutland peninsula in Denmark. It serves as a key component of the Triangle Region, an area that also encompasses the neighboring cities of Kolding and Vejle.
The city was founded in 1650 by King Frederick III, who is also the namesake of the town. Since its establishment, it has remained a significant geographical point within the Danish landscape.
