Esbjerg is a seaport city located on the west coast of the Jutland peninsula in southwest Denmark. It serves as the seat of Esbjerg Municipality and is situated approximately 71 kilometres west of Kolding and 164 kilometres southwest of Aarhus.
The city has an urban population of 71,371, making it the fifth-largest city in Denmark. It also holds the distinction of being the largest city in the West Jutland region.
