Nørresundby is a city located in the Vendsyssel region of Denmark. It is situated north of Limfjorden within the Aalborg Municipality, positioned just north of the city of Aalborg.
The urban area has a population of 24,831. Although it has been classified as a statistically independent urban area since 2006, Nørresundby is frequently considered part of Aalborg. The broader metropolitan concept encompassing both areas is sometimes referred to as Greater Aalborg (Stor-Aalborg).
