Tårnby is a town located in Denmark, serving as the seat of Tårnby Municipality within the Capital Region. It is situated on the island of Amager, approximately 6.5 kilometres (4.0 mi) south of central Copenhagen.
The town is bordered by the suburb of Sundbyvester to the north and Kastrup to the south. To its east lies Copenhagen Airport, and the municipality includes the islets of Saltholm and Peberholm.
