Kokkedal is a city located on the coastline of northern Zealand, Denmark. It serves as the municipal seat of Fredensborg Municipality and is situated approximately 30 km north of Copenhagen.
The settlement is positioned between the towns of Nivå and Hørsholm within the urban area of Hørsholm. It is connected to the Kystbanen railway line, which runs toward Helsingør to the north and Copenhagen to the south, with further extensions reaching several major cities across Zealand.
