Charlottenlund is a suburban area located on the coast north of Copenhagen, Denmark. It serves as the administrative seat of Gentofte Municipality and is situated between Hellerup to the south and Klampenborg to the north.
The neighborhood is bordered by the Øresund strait to the east and is recognized as one of the wealthiest areas in Denmark. It takes its name from Charlottenlund Palace.
