Mouddo is a town located in the northern Tadjoura region of Djibouti. It is situated approximately 90 kilometres north of the city of Tadjoura and lies about 14 kilometres east of the border with Ethiopia.
The geography of the area is characterized by its position on the edge of the Andabba depression, which serves as a flooded plain during periods of rainfall.
