Holhol is a town situated in the Ali Sabieh Region of Djibouti. It is located approximately 44 kilometres south-west of the nation's capital, Djibouti City, at an altitude of 450 metres above sea level.
The surrounding region is characterized by its livestock and developing agricultural activities. Historically, Holhol is notable as the birthplace of Cheik Osman Waiss, a nationalist and anti-colonial figure who initiated his movement in the town.
