Airolaf is a town located in the central part of the Tadjoura Region in northwestern Djibouti. It is situated approximately 115 kilometres northwest of the national capital, Djibouti City.
The town is characterized by its temperate and cool climate, which is noted as the coolest area within the country. The surrounding landscape features the Goda Mountains, which rank as the third tallest mountain in Djibouti. Additionally, the countryside around Airolaf is distinguished by widespread vegetable cultivation.
