Schöneberg is a locality situated in Berlin, Germany. Historically, it functioned as an independent borough until the administrative reform enacted by the city in 2001.
Following this reorganization, Schöneberg was merged with the former borough of Tempelhof to form the current borough of Tempelhof-Schöneberg. The locality also includes the area of Friedenau, which was previously part of its own separate borough structure.
