Oberschöneweide is a locality situated within the Treptow-Köpenick borough of Berlin, Germany. It forms one of the two primary components of the Schöneweide geographic area, alongside its neighbor, Niederschöneweide.
Historically, Oberschöneweide was part of the former borough of Köpenick until 2001. Today, it remains a distinct district within the current administrative structure of the city's southeastern region.
