Marzahn

Germany

Marzahn is a locality situated within the borough of Marzahn-Hellersdorf in Berlin, Germany. It was established as part of the city's administrative structure following a 2001 reform that fused the former independent boroughs of Marzahn and Hellersdorf into a single administrative unit.

The northern portion of the Marzahn locality encompasses the neighborhoods of Bürknersfelde and Ahrensfelde. This area consists of an overbuilt strip of land that was originally part of the Brandenburg municipality of Ahrensfelde before being incorporated into Berlin in 1990.
