Kreuzberg is a district located in Berlin, Germany. It serves as a constituent part of the Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg borough and is situated south of the Mitte district.

Historically, Kreuzberg was recognized as one of the poorest areas of West Berlin during the Cold War era. Since German reunification in 1990, the neighborhood has experienced significant gentrification and has become well known for its vibrant arts scene.
