Trusetal is a former municipality located in the district of Schmalkalden-Meiningen within the state of Thuringia, Germany. It serves as a geographical area situated in the central region of the country.
On December 1, 2011, Trusetal was incorporated into the town of Brotterode-Trusetal. As part of this administrative change, it ceased to exist as an independent municipality and became a constituent part of the larger unified town structure.
