Stepfershausen is a village and a former municipality located in the district of Schmalkalden-Meiningen within the state of Thuringia, Germany. It serves as a residential area situated in the central region of the country.
Since December 2019, Stepfershausen has been officially incorporated into the town of Meiningen. While it maintains its identity as a village, it now functions as part of this larger administrative municipality.
