Schleiz is a town located in the district of Saale-Orla-Kreis within the federal state of Thuringia, Germany.
The town's administrative boundaries were expanded through municipal mergers in recent years. The former municipality of Crispendorf was merged into Schleiz in January 2019, followed by the merger of Burgk in December 2019.
