Neuhaus-Schierschnitz was a former municipality located in the Sonneberg district of Thuringia, Germany. It served as an independent administrative entity until its incorporation into a larger local government structure.
On July 6, 2018, Neuhaus-Schierschnitz was merged with the municipalities of Föritz and Judenbach to form the new municipality of Föritztal. This merger consolidated these three areas into a single administrative unit within the Thuringian region.
