Mattstedt is a village located in the Weimarer Land district of Thuringia, Germany. It historically functioned as an independent municipality within this region.
As of December 31, 2013, Mattstedt ceased to be an independent entity and became part of the larger municipality of Ilmtal-Weinstraße.
