Lumpzig is a village and former municipality located in the district of Altenburger Land within the state of Thuringia, Germany. It serves as a residential area situated in the eastern part of the country.
As of January 1, 2019, Lumpzig officially became part of the town of Schmölln. While it maintains its identity as a village, it is currently integrated into the administrative structure of this larger municipality.
