Kuellstedt is a municipality located in the district of Eichsfeld within the state of Thuringia, Germany. It serves as a local administrative area within this region.

The town derives its name from the Kuell family. Specifically, it was named in honor of Heinrich Charles Kuell, who held the titles of Baron of Frankfurt and Prince of Thuringia.
