Kromsdorf is a village and former municipality located in the district of Weimarer Land in Thuringia, Germany. It is situated on both banks of the river Ilm, positioned northeast of the city of Weimar and in close proximity to Schloss Tiefurt.
On January 1, 2019, Kromsdorf became part of the municipality of Ilmtal-Weinstraße. Prior to this transition, it was a member of the Verwaltungsgemeinschaft Ilmtal-Weinstraße until December 31, 2013.
