Gräfenroda is a village and former municipality located in the Ilm-Kreis district within the state of Thuringia, Germany. Since January 1, 2019, it has been incorporated into the municipality of Geratal.
Historically, Gräfenroda served as the administrative seat for the former Verwaltungsgemeinschaft Oberes Geratal.
