Gorsleben is a village located in the Kyffhäuserkreis district within the state of Thuringia, Germany. It historically functioned as an independent municipality before undergoing administrative changes.
As of January 1, 2019, Gorsleben officially became part of the town of An der Schmücke. It remains a recognized locality within this larger municipal structure.
