Gernrode is a historic town and former municipality located in the Harz District of Saxony-Anhalt, Germany. It served as the administrative seat of the former Verwaltungsgemeinschaft of Gernrode/Harz.
On January 1, 2014, Gernrode officially became part of the town of Quedlinburg. The area is recognized for its historical significance within the region.
