Geisleden is a municipality located in the district of Eichsfeld within the German state of Thuringia. It is situated in the valley formed by the river Geislede, approximately 4 kilometres (2.5 mi) southeast of the town of Heiligenstadt.
The settlement is bordered by several neighboring towns, including Westhausen to the north, Kreuzebra to the east, and Heuthen toward the southeast.
