Frauensee is a village located in the Wartburgkreis district of Thuringia, Germany. It formerly functioned as an independent municipality before being incorporated into the town of Bad Salzungen in July 2018.
The settlement is situated within the central region of Germany and serves as a constituent part of the larger administrative area of Bad Salzungen.
