Frankenroda is a village located in the state of Thuringia, Germany. It was formerly an independent municipality situated within the Wartburgkreis district.
On January 1, 2024, Frankenroda officially became part of the town Amt Creuzburg. The area remains a rural locality within the regional administrative structure of eastern Germany.
