Fambach is a municipality located in the district of Schmalkalden-Meiningen within the state of Thuringia, Germany. It serves as a local administrative area situated in the central part of the country.
The municipality expanded its jurisdiction on December 1, 2008, when it officially incorporated the former municipality of Heßles. This merger integrated the two areas into a single administrative unit within the Schmalkalden-Meiningen district.
