Bufleben is a village and Ortschaft located in the district of Gotha within the state of Thuringia, Germany. It currently functions as part of the municipality of Nessetal.
Prior to January 1, 2019, Bufleben was an independent municipality before being merged into the new municipality of Nessetal. The Ortschaft Bufleben is composed of three distinct villages: Bufleben, Hausen, and Pfullendorf.
