Bockstadt is a village located in the district of Hildburghausen within the state of Thuringia, Germany. It historically functioned as an independent municipality before undergoing administrative changes.
As of December 31, 2013, Bockstadt ceased to be an independent municipality and became part of the town of Eisfeld.
