Ballstädt is a village and Ortschaft located in the district of Gotha within the state of Thuringia, Germany. It serves as a constituent part of the municipality of Nessetal.
Prior to January 1, 2019, Ballstädt functioned as an independent municipality before being merged into the newly formed municipality of Nessetal.
