Angelroda is a village and former municipality located in the district of Ilm-Kreis in the state of Thuringia, Germany. The settlement was originally founded in the year 958.
As of December 2019, Angelroda no longer exists as an independent administrative entity, having been incorporated into the municipality of Martinroda.
